This has to be a deliberate decision on the game developer's part. Give us back the option to increase tether distance. If it's too much for our computer, then so be it, we will have to change it back. But, we had tether at 999999 on classic Ark and we were just fine and had great family games in our household.Even if you set the tether distance to 1000+ ect, in the original Ark at least, non dedicated is still somewhat impossible if you want to do any caves as it breaks the tether no matter the distance. This can cause game crashes and other issues. Non-Dedicated Cave Tether Distance 2. With or without mods, me and my friend have been experiencing a glitch. Whenever we enter a cave together, he cannot move from me a single foot. It's worse the further in. Eventually it begins to glitch the cave and causes us to noclip and crash Ark. When we rejoin, it has reversed time a little bit.
