I thought it was my past use of mods with vortex, (only one mod, where you remove the main characters voice) so I uninstalled everything and it still didn't work. It can't hurt, though.The HDD being external is bottlenecking your asset load times to USB speed. If you have it on an internal SSD, this will improve your experience immensely.
