The only workaround I found so far is to download LSlib, extract the mod in question, remove every file except the "meta.lsx" file, then repack and replace the old mod with this now empty mod. I previously made a post talking about the lag issues introduced to a few people in patch 5, I'm making this post to let people know how I found a temporary workaround. Bear in mind, this only worked for lag issues in act 1 and 2, act 3 is still chugging heavily and I suspect will need an actual official fix from Larian.
