MB. IN this thread, OP was asking about the key for the Lariat. The Lariat is pushbutton. The intelligent FOB has a spare key in the case to unlock the door and/or use for the spare tire. A person without a push bottton start would already have a key with them to start the vehicle, therefore they don't hide a spare key with the non intelligent fob.

I lowered the tire by using a socket that just fit over the key and long extension. I jammed the socket against the key by pushing the extension real hard to the side while turning it with a ratchet. It would only move a little at a time, But good enough to get the tire down, then just pry the key out.
