I've been using Freestyle Libre since 2018. So around 80 fortnightly applications. At first failures were few and far between. But from the tail end of 2020 through the first quarter of 2021, I'm getting frequent failures. Mostly, the sensor that's meant to last 14 days actually stops working after 10 or 11 days.

No issues with first sensor. Second one worked for 30 minutes then stopped. Said I had to replace it. I didn't have a replacement yet so I just left it on my arm. After 3 hours it suddenly started working. Worked fine for 6 days and then stopped again. After 2 days it didn't come back to life so last night I put on a new one - sensor #3.

Yes, just replaced a sensor due to that. I ignore the first 24 hours of the sensor, but after that, it kept on showing very very low values. I checked against the finger prick - more than 30 points. Before trying the 3rd sensor I did the Libre app reinstall - left the current sensor as is and just wiped the Libre app from the phone, reinstalled it fresh from the AppStore, login and normal setup process. The app attached to the sensor and started working like it should, no more critical notifications about a faulty sensor.
