Things stack. If you are dual classed level 5 classes, that's level 10 in one class. So they stack. I haven't done it in game, but in 5e, they stack. The Bladelock I think wants to be Gith. Medium armor is highly relevant, and the mobility spells are the best thing for melee combatants. The Eldritch Blaster I would expect to wear robes and dual wield staves. As such, neither armor nor shield proficiency is of much value to me. Instead of Blade Warlock 5, it might just be better to do Warlock 2, 3 or 4. 2 still gets you invocations, 3 gets you pact bind so you can dump STR, 4 is a Feat, a spell and a cantrip. Plenty of builds do 2-4 dips in other classes and there's still value.
