Are any of you just using the Claybuster gray CB0178 wads for 1oz and 7/8oz loads? I use Extra-Lite for the 7/8oz loads and Clay Dot for the 1oz loads. I like them at 1180-1200fps. Winchester hulls and Rem hulls should generally be interchangeable. Both use a tapered wad. Your choice of powder is not the best for light loads. Check the online reloading guides for youth loads. A powder like Clays, XtraLite or 700-X will serve you better. Also, 7/8 or 3/4-oz of shot will give you less recoil. I like WAA12L or CB0178-12 wads (both grey) for light loads in AA hulls.
