I've repaired a weapon about 10 times now with a repair kit of all sorts. Annoyed I have to post about this, but I can not find anything on it. repair with raw materials in your inventory, not a repair kit. I remember for some of the "craft x " journey steps, you don't have to craft it. You just have to pick it up. So if you already have one or find it on an enemy, you just have to transfer it to your inventory.
