If you have more time, you can consider the idea to visit the beautiful castles near the city, such as Frederiksborg (wonderful!) or perhaps going to Malmo (a small but so nice city in Sweden- almost 15 minutes by train from Copenhagen). An adult ticket for an hour of public transport use in the city Centre will cost just 24kr per adult, kids are free. Public transport is extensive and very easy to use.
Forex has marginally better rates than Danske Bank and Nordea at the airport. There is a flat fee of DKK30 for buying DKK, so don't make a lot of small transactions. DO NOT CHANGE MONEY AT "THE CHANGE GROUP" - they have same exchange rates as the banks, but charges a 10.99% commission fee!

Jul 14, 2023 · The hop on&off is quite expensive. Even when buying the Copenhagen Card, the option that includes it costs more and offers less in terms of other attractions, compared with the "Discover" version of the card - which offers full public transportation which includes a vast area.
