Public transportation, beaches, nightlife (gaslamp) are all better in SD. Outside of the dorms, housing may be cheaper if you go inward of east county. The campus life at SDSU will be better. San Diego in general is a much more fun city also than Long Beach. Cal Poly Slo has very little diversity, mostly white people. It depends on what you’re looking for in a school. I’ve visited SDSU, CSULA, and CSULB so I can answer some questions about those schools. :) Unfortunately I’ve never been to SLO. Csulb doesn’t have a “college town” feel BC many are commuters.
