A few points on the Tinkerer: 1.) The Tinkerer does a bit of everything very well so watch the characters that do one of those things very well and learn when the most important times to double up those things is.You can tank,fight in melee (not that great without loss cards), heal, deal solid ranged damage, true damage and most importantly block enemy's. The brute is a bit better at tanking and has a bit better single target DPR. Personally, I feel like the strongest hitting attacks (like Enhancement Field and Ink Bomb) are more likely to be strong with just straight added damage, since the Tinkerer has a great toolkit of unique tools (and I feel like blurring the line would get boring and redundant).
