I have the ody touring for 2 years, and until yesterday that I noticed that my power tailgate won't automatically open after I press the tailgate release button on the tailgate. Randomly it would start working again. That was the first 4 or 5 times. This time, it has remained not working. I tried removing and replacing the 10A under-hood fuse that is indicated as the "remove to reset" fuse per the factory troubleshooting info via Service ...Make sure main switch for doors is in OFF positon and make sure the ignition swithc is in LOCK "0" position. I found that the fuse is in the rear of the car, near the third row power outlet. Pulling out the 40A tailgate motor fuse effectively disables the power tailgate functionality; I just moved it to an unused slot in the fuse box. Although I do get a light on the dash saying "tailgate", this does solve the problem.
