Honda pilot transfer case fluid.
The owners manual has it listed on page 465 (in the 2013 version) under Specifications, sub listing Transfer Assembly Fluid with a volume of 0.45 quarts. My guess is that the additional volume from the shop manual set is for an empty case being installed and the lower volume listed in the owners manual is for a service fluid change.

It only takes half a quart of Honda HGO-1 fluid (part #08200-9014). The rear Diff fluid (Honda VTM-4) has a different interval to change it. All 3 are different fluids. The ST is GL5 rated. I went to the dealer and bought 4 qts of honda trans fluid at a cost of $35.00 for my 6spd automatic, apparently the 9spd is 80.00 per quart. It took me 1/2 hour to drain and fill with 3.3 qts.

It was leaking some clear fluid that I could not pinpoint. Apparently the t-case has its own fluid separate from the transmission. I had to take it the dealer twice before they fixed it.

I can't seem to find any 90 weight oils anywhere. There are plenty of 80W-90's, but the Pilot will spend only a few days a year below zero. The gear oil in the transfercase never goes bad though, you can change it with 80w-90 gear oil and the rear differential needs Honda VTM-4 Fluid only available through Honda.

The owners manual calls for a transmission oil change and transfer case (not rear differential) change under symbol 3 in the maintenance minder section. I assume these are done at the same time when the maintenance minder notifies you. The transfer case takes gear oil.
