Isx blowing coolant out overflow but not overheating.

In 30 plus years it has never done this before and the mechanical temp gage showed normal, no actual overheating. I knew this was not a good sign. The vehicle remained parked until cooler weather was on hand since this would not be a simple task.not the other way around where the coolant would be pushing past the gasket into the combustion chamber and blowing out the exhaust. Pushing coolant is almost always a lifted head but can try replacing the overflow cap first since you said it had no pressure in the system after sitting. Not sure why your coolant would be cold if it was overheating and you've been driving it and you said you replaced t stats recently.

This car has been overheating, and bubbling out of reservoir. I changed the thermostat today and same problem remains. I also noted the fan will not run. Having hard time finding out why it won't run. To get back to bubbling overflow tank temp gauge will read normal and hot. Doesn't seem to matter what gauge says it still will do it.
