This is a very nice vintage Johnson Century Model 100B spin cast reel. with it's original box and Johnson manual. The reel is stamped Johnson. Century, Model 100B, Made in USA and heel is stamped Made in USA. Measures approx. 3 5/16" long. 2 15/16" tall and 2 1/2" spool diameter. As I mentioned in one or more of the previous entries, if there was a weak link in the design and/or manufacture of the Johnson Century Model 100 fishing reels (similarly, the Johnson Citation Model 110 is the same), it was the drag. The short of it is that the drive shaft retaining ring (Johnson part #130) had come off and was inside the body along with the spring it holds on and the rotor gear.
