The 1911 has 3 different length triggers avaliable, as well as 2 different main spring housings, (arched or flat) and different width grips, all on these can be used the custom fit the gun to your hand and trigger finger length. The Equalizer has none of this. He said the only ammo it liked was a lower grain wadcutter, shooting typical ball it was terrible. Having seen him shoot consistant 2.5 inch groups at 50 yards, it had me wondering. From what I have been reading on these and other forums, the 25-2 was a great gun and very accurate too, but I haven't seen much mentioned about the ammo used.The two guns have very different trigger and grip safety systems. People who allow inexperienced people to discharge any handgun (and especially a 460 or 500 magnum), shouldn't own a handgun in the first place. This includes boxes, paperwork, labels, hang tags, etc. advertised as factory items. My pistol also came with the white plastic part and shows signs of scratches and worn-out. The model 67 was introduced in 1972 at around serial number 2K55997. The full serial number is found on the butt of the grip frame. You will have to remove the grips to see it. The gun is in fairly nice shape overall, just needs a good cleaning. I believe it was manufactured around 1977.

The model 69 is a gun that may externally look the same as a 686 L-frame, but that barrel is a completely different design than the original frame and barrel combination.
