The panel has "push in fasteners" (not sure what they are called)around the parameter. You have to pry them out. Start on the bottom corner, take something like a large flat screwdriver and get between the panel and the metal part of the door and pry it out. Then move to the next one, which should be 8 to 10 inches from that one in both directions.
