If that's not it you probably need a new harness. You can check out ag express, they sell them. Since 1997 we have owned a Kinze 12/23 2600, a JD 1790 16/32, a Kinze 3600 16/32, & am currently running a CIH 1240 24x20" planter. I've seen the problem worse on Deere's 1780 style planter with the longer hitch on the 6/11 or 8/15 planters causing more side pressure on turns. I've always welded the units with no long term problems. The max emerge XP cast shanks first used in 2004 don't have this problem.

The 1770 has a better lifting system than the 7200 series . The 7200 the cylinders will get out of phase. We have had 12 row 7200, then 16 row 7200 and now 1770nt - 16 row with es sets. I have a 1780 16/31 john deere planter I cannot get the monitor to work all the time. Sometimes it will work very well and then again it will not work at all. It will tell me its planting when it's not and vice versa. I check the circuit with the planter diagnostics and it will tell me it is ok.
