Rpf pierce 2 all day. The MV's of p1 and p2 are the same, 7. Thats true. However, p2 has a higher tick rate, meaning it'll get more damage ticks in as opposed to pierce 1. Even if that wasn't the case, pierce 2 has way better ammo economy than pierce 1 since pierce 1 is 1 to 1 with latchberries while pierce 2 is 4 to 1 with pierce 1 for crafting.
