Keep filling that chamber with epoxy. And maybe drop a few washers in there for good luck. Put the big nut back on, with epoxy, as well. That will almost completely make the valve a bypass. There WILL be just a tiny bit of a pulse in the line, however, due to the rest of how the valve works. For that, pic number three.

Ended up running into problems with my Injection pump and it took much longer than i anticipated. When i started putting these with the injectors on to the motor, the fuel filter bracket was just a tad bit in the way. Apr 3, 2015 · Using a punch, push the clip down and use a pick to draw it out. Clip removed, you can now take the unit out of your vice or c-clamp, do not drop the accumulator it will want to fall off so hold on to it. Pull the accumulator off and let the extra fluid drain out. Then put the accumulator aside for now. My 6.9 IDI burns almost a quart of oil to a tank of fuel, and all (or most) of that oil seems to be getting sucked through the CDR valve. When I realized the inside of the intake manifold was coated in oil, I replaced the CDR valve, but the problem continued. Clean up the outside of the hole carefully for better holding and seal. But be careful there in case the surrounding area is weakened. I plugged a hole in my Trooper's radiator top tank years ago with JBW.Per the manual, normal hot oil pressure is 10 psi idle and 40-70 psi @ 2200 rpm. Is "normal driving" is below that... I suggest you get her good and hot then in neutral rev it to 2200 and read the pressure. That's how the manual says to do it. I suspect doing that you will see "normal" oil pressure.

The TPS/FIPL voltage does not necessarily have to be 1.2 VDC, it can be set as low as .50 VDC, the lower the voltage the softer the shift, try it at .96 VDC. Dont really need any head work, they flow better than PSD heads. The head bolts or studs are a weak point, the heads will lift above 10 or 12 psi in short order. Recently Wes or somebody floated the idea that 7.3 head gaskets were stronger than the 6.9 because of the filled coolant channel.
You need to clean the filter head rub it dry. I take the seal off the filter an rub completly with fresh oil an stick oring back on filter inside of the grooves an screw it on. That's the best way I use to only rub the top an screw on but found out this way is a thousand times better. I use the Motorcraft FL-1995 powerstroke filter as well.
