Dani's the same. I think it would be a trap to try to fill in the Valkyrie aspect of her at the detriment of the Mirage aspect. So we will clearly divide the two, with this build being the Mirage build. Maybe a Valkyrie build comes somewhere in the future. For Mirage, we need to focus on shooting arrows and scaring the bejesus out of people.
You may not wield a 2handed weapon. You may wield a single, one handed weapon, (this includes wielding a single free hand weapon) and combine that with your esoterica, your Implements, and even manipulate your scrolls (scroll Thauma), all with your 'spare hand'. This is far beyond what the base rules allow for the average hero.

Yes, and I personally think that's okay. Thaumaturge, Investigator, Rogue, and (when built for it) Ranger all have similar abilities to identify enemy weaknesses. A potential Inquisitor would also have similar abilities. You can have multiple classes with the same end goals if both reach those goals in different ways.

In my mind, I think it's really useful to get the ancient feat to get Scorpio Whip early on. The key is that if you have two implements in your hand (say a passive + active, like Tome/Wand), both of those hands can additionally hold a scroll. So you can always be loaded with two spells per combat even though your hands are fun. But a Shield spell cantrip would be a nice as there are no cantrip scrolls. 2.Basically it lets you get a regular 2nd level class feat instead of spending it on a multiclass feat. It's more limited since you can't use it for non-multiclass archetypes but is generally going to be valuable. Overall, though, I think rogue is the best multiclass for increasing thaumaturge DPR, followed closely by monk.
