With my 2 previous pregnancies I start dilating at 28-29 weeks. But 32 weeks I been 1 1/2 cm dilated. Had my 1st at 38 weeks 1 day and my second at 39 weeks 1day. Current pregnancy I just turned 33 weeks and I'm 3 cm dilated. You can slowly dilate for weeks with no problems. Not sure if that's what had made my labors so easy and pain free.
