Ok that is a relief. I just took my nclex-pn today and I got tons of sata questions. Like I would say at least 50. It shut off at 85 and I just don't feel that great about it. Since the minimum number of questions you'll take on the NCLEX is 75, and the maximum is 145, this could happen at any point between those 2 numbers. Theoretically, the computer could know from your first 75 questions that you failed and stop giving you more, or it could know that you passed.

What it really boils down to is, whether you have 85 questions, 95 questions, or 205 questions, there is no way to tell if you passed or failed based off of the number of questions you receive.
