Flashy Smiley Face! Finally, after months of , this month I saw a Clearblue smiley face on my ovulation kit! This was the cause for much excitement, as it could mean ovulation is finally here. However, of course it’s not that simple. For the first time this cycle, I have begun using the new Clearblue Dual Hormone Ovulation Testing Kit ...there are 2 clearblue opks, one is pink and you’ll either get a circle for negative or a smiley for positive, the purple one is the I have, it’s supposed to detect up to 4 days of fertility.. so 2-3 days of the flashing smiley meaning it’s rising and 1 solid smiley meaning peakcitychic4. You're supposed to use it once around maybe CD6 to get a baseline for estrogen. Then if you used it a couple days before ovulation, you'd get the blinking smiley because your estrogen was higher than the first time. I'm thinking you skipped the blinking phase because it didn't have a baseline. Which is fine. Solid smiley is good!
