My 2009 xB started to have this problem about 4 days ago. There's been a delay in gear shifting from 2nd to 3rd. VSC Off and check engine lights are on. Scanner gives DTC code P0793 (Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor A Circuit No Signal) 1/1. If you have, then it's a good idea to disconnect the battery negative, wait a minute or so, and then reconnect to force the ECU to relearn the engine behavior.
