Copy your American Laser Games (Singe 1) game folder into the roms/alg folder. Make sure the game folder contains a framefile (usually gamename.txt file) and a .singe file. Run the Scan for New games script to create a proper .alg dummy file for each of the game folders copied. Restart emulationstation and launch your game form the menu.
I can’t seem to figure out, if there is a way, to adjust the brightness without first exiting whichever game I’m playing. I know with JELOS it was (I believe) done by holding down ‘select’ and pressing either volume button. Can’t seem to find any such shortcut for ArkOS. That is weird. I wonder if this has anything to do with Version of the RGB30 I only recently learned about. Maybe this is more prone with one version over that of another. It runs pretty good on the RGB30, I would say get the RGB30 since you can hook it up to an external display, a Bluetooth controller and treat it like a mini console. To me, my devices are great and I had little to no issues since I was modding them anyway. I still have JelOS on a different SD card but now I run ArkOS.
NOTE: I've only tested this on ArkOS, but considering JelOS stopped developing for the RGB30 you should switch over anyway. If you prefer ArkOS on the RGB30 but hate how ugly it is on the RGB30 in comparison to the ArtBookNext theme used in stock JelOS, then I think I found a solution; I've been messing with the settings of pretty much every theme there is in order to try and find something that looks good on this funky 1:1 screen - and I think I finally cracked it. Long shot: if anyone owns an analogue pocket and a RGB30 - the per pixel shaders that the pocket can run on gameboy is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, it is just impossible to describe how great the pocket screen is. I know the RGB30 is lower res but it's still a pretty cool 720x720 screen.

Tried 6 different cards, even one that came with console, RGB30 doesnt even try to boot it. XZ uncompressed. Basically it should say PermitRootLogin yes on that line. Hit Ctrl+X, then hit y to save the change. Then either restart ssh by typing in sudo systemctl restart ssh or restart ArkOS.
