Following his residency training with Southern Illinois University, he practiced full-scope rural family medicine in northern Wyoming, which included in-patient care, and sports medicine. In 2017, Dr. Wilde became one of the inaugural faculty at RVUCOM-Southern Utah campus and served there as Vice Chair in the Department of Primary Care Medicine.
