The ground goes through this connector (large black wire). There should be two large black wires next to each other in that connector. Pull it apart and perform the same inspection. If that checks OK, you will need a test light and it will have to be acting up for us to track it down. Ask Your Own Chevy Question.

From the diagram I found, this is Ground 102. I can barely touch it and the wire has no stiffness at the connector. The Orange wire also goes to the fans switch for "high" speed, which bypasses the resistor module. From the fan switch to the ground splice pack, the ground wire is Black.
