I ditched the stock buttons (and suction cups) and made new buttons with fender washers, .350 thick aluminum spacer and 5/16" bolt. Makes for very close stacking and less weight. Dec 30, 2020 · FYI - If you use a Harken 150 or Schaffer 70-17 you will need at least 2.25" hardware to mount through a Hawk Helium stick. I measured and figured I had about 1/4" of threads with a 2" bolt but it didn't work out that way. Barely had enough to thread on the nuts so I have to go back for some 2.25" or 2.5" hardware. Flinginairos has videos on YouTube (search guidos web, part 1, part 2). My setup is almost exactly the same. I use 1-3 sticks with 5 step aiders to get to up to 22 feet.
