Ikelos smg isnt in the prophecy loot pool. Ikelos HC and shotgun are the only two. Smg is a world drop. What you are talking about has nothing to do with sunsetting. It was not the result of sunsetting and the older weapons dropping less frequent still holds true today, hence why OP is having a hard time getting Ikelos smg.

Hey, there are better and easier to farm SMGs for PvP, the older the guns are the less chance you have to get them from random drop sources. Good luck finding a good roll!Warmind nodes and the general ikelos focusing are free for all players. Unfortunately the nodes are once per account per node so after you get all of em it's just farming umbrals and focusing. Umbral focusing is your best friend, 5 days of minimal playtime allows you to craft any weapon that can be focused.

Spend the energy and umbrals to focus the ikelos smg. You'll do that a bunch of time with atrocious drop rates for red borders. Eventually you'll get the pattern and rinse and repeat for the rest of the guns. Unfortunately, the best way to do it if your rnh isn't the best.
