So I was having this problem too. What you need to do is before starting the off season fire your OC. Then hire new one. Problem solved. Thats not problem solved that is a work around. Glitch in Madden 23, need help. So since the new update, when i go to load up a game in franchise, the alternate helmets loads in as a solid plain white helmet. I play as the jets and i saw the new update added the alternate helmets to the game, which should be black, so I wanted to wear it and now this is happening. You need house rules (must fire coordinator if going to a conference final game etc). Nevermind the "lack of coaches" glitch that bricks save files. I switched to another team and immediately back. In that time, 5 trades of top players (including a 91 Elu/87 Pow/79 Rec 3rd yr RB w/ 2 years left on contract) was completed by the computer. 2 90+ OL. Also released an 85 CB. 4 starting players all gone, got a few 2nd and 4th rd picks. I'm so livid. Madden needs to fix this glitch, pronto.

Once it kicks you out, delete your character and start a new one at the same position. It will start you in the 2022 season but you'll have your current character level and progression. It allows you to get to your new team and continue to grind till they actually fix it. Also this issues seems isolated to QBs.
