Sights. The sights on the PSA dagger are a little disappointing, but at $300, I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting. I guess I’ve just become so used to sights on guns coming with night sights. So when I realized the PSA Dagger didn’t have night sights, I was a little surprised. But again, I thought to myself, “This is a $300 gun.
NcStar Vism works for me. Glock sights are the easiest sights to do overall and usually don’t need a pusher (dowel rod works for the rear). The dagger sights are a little more difficult and the pusher comes in handy. I’ve done a few daggers eithout issue and the front sight was never an issue with a generic glock front sight tool.There are a couple of suggested sight pushers on the website at the bottom of every Dagger product listing. Otherwise, the process is the same as every other glock style sight removal/instalation. You may need to use heat to lossen the loctite on the front sight screw. Any gunsmith should be able to help you with this.The use of a soldering iron to directly apply heat to the screw works well. This includes the Dagger front iron sight, rear iron sight, and MRDS cut cover plate. Heat with torch, follow with pb blaster. Let cool. Re heat with torch receiver on towel. Sight block on roll of tape driving pins in to center hole. Pins go out one way only. Ting ting ting pins are on floor/table. Grab brass punch and drive block off of barrel. Could use many other thing besides the brass punch.
