Ram rotary shifter stuck in park.

Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt. Engine. 5.7. I recently had to do a Cam and Lifter swap. After completion, I used HP Tuners to shut off the MDS. Went to start the truck and the dash indicator shows it's in Reverse. The shifter is in park and so is the lever on the transmission. I disconnected the shift linkage and manually moved it and still in reverse (never changes).

If thats fine make sure your brake switch is working, if it somehow moved then it wont release the switch to release the lock.

this time was able to start after wiggling the shift knob. I believed it started in gear. it felt like it rolled forward a little before the parking brake engaged by itself and would have shifted to park. door was open with seat belt off. i was trying to trick it to go in park by itself.
