Oct 10, 2019 · RRECS Depends on walk distance to gather mail, number of trays of DPS, number of trays of FSS. There is no time standard for other mail prep, like dumping sacks, so I'm not sure how a carrier wlll be credited. Also no time credit for withdrawing "raw mail" or prebundled flats. Not sure how that will be counted. The RRECS standard for walking is 0.00429 min/ft. This works out to 2.65 mph. Walking time is linear: walking 50 ft, doing something, then walking 50 ft more has the same time value as walking 100 ft. Whereas driving 50 ft, stopping, driving 50 ft. more is a different allotted time than driving 100 ft continuous. The DPS percentage under RRECS will be determined using the weekly average DPS Letters and weekly average random letters used to calculate your current evaluation.
