In my 7mm-08, it's awesome! Never found a better combination than 7-08, 140 grain bullet and Varget (42.5 grains=2850 fps). My 7-08 Mountain Rifle shoots 140 ABs at 2730 with 43 grains of Varget. Even with the skinny barrel, it'll shoot 3 into about .75" if I let the barrel cool between shots.
