Try putting your mouth over the L and R buttons (not at the same time obviously o_o) and blowing into them as hard as you can. I know it sounds stupid, but it helps. You can usually hear a little popping noise if you do it right. I do Let's Plays (mostly Nintendo stuff), so check them out or whatever.
