Based on my experience with service centers and warranty issues with tools, if it takes 4 weeks to repair a ridgid drill, it will likely also take 4 weeks to repair a Bosch, Milwaukee, Dewalt, etc. This is usually a function of the service centre rather than anything to do with the tool manufacturer.
