The stat differences are just magazine, ammo max and 3% status chance. In return you get a slightly better riven disposition, lower magazine to get the base damage boost from final evo faster, and imo a cooler looking incarnon form. I don't know if the base Soma have any stat variations in incarnon options that differ from that of the Soma prime. If you compare stats without rivens it's decent but rivens make other weapons so much more powerful that Soma P becomes crap in comparison. it probably works well only in gauss / harrow / garuda / chroma. -45% reload will put the cooldown between 5 and 6 seconds. If I'm not mistaken this weapon empties the magazine in less than 10~15 seconds so you will always have a 5 second window to hide from enemies. It's a good riven but it's mandatory to use a frame for quick reloading.

Feb 21, 2017 · Soma Prime already has more than enough bullets in the clip (200). The small minus or plus in mag capacity doesn't do much better. The 21% dmg to corpus can come in handy though. Also not to forget the -40% status duration which greatly reduces procs like slash procs and also effectively reducing your damage.
